Recently a friend of mine has gone through a great amount of trouble, personal torment and anguish because of a select group of self pronounced “artists” who lacked the vision that should be the trademark of an artist- knowing that the true mission of an artist is to further the human experience by expanding boundaries & challenging people to view the world through new filters, to experience life without their own veil.

Bottom line….you can not claim to be an artist and then condemn art. You can not like it, thats your right, but you must not try and determine how others see things or even worse, try to assume and influence how others feel about the art just because you are bound by your own lack of vision.

And if nothing else..remember what side of the toast your bread gets buttered on and dont bite the hand that feeds you.

I can understand walking away…..but I can not understand trying to burn it down.
